You don’t have to carry it alone. Sindi tayo.

Post what you’re praying for. People across the Philippines will each light a candle and pray for it with you, because many praying for you is better than one. When it’s answered, come back and tell them.

Say what you’ve been carrying.

Write it in a few lines, the way you’d ask a friend to pray for you. Here, everyone on the wall can. Put your name on it, post it anonymously, or keep it between you and God. Nobody will judge it. They’ll pray.

Somewhere, a stranger lights a candle.

Then another, and another. Each candle on your petition is one more person who stopped, read what you wrote, and prayed for you.

When it’s answered, tell them.

Mark your prayer answered and write what happened. Everyone who prayed for you will see it, and so will the next person who needs some hope. Then light one for them.

There are no likes, followers or comments on Sindi. The only number anyone sees is how many candles were lit.

When a prayer is answered, someone writes back.

At the Wednesday novena in Baclaran, letters of thanks are read aloud so others can take heart. Sindi keeps that tradition: when a prayer is answered, the letter goes to everyone who prayed for it.

“Pray for each other so that you may be healed.”
James 5:16

Every Thursday, people line up at the National Shrine of St. Jude in Manila to light a candle, each with a petition of their own. We kept thinking: what if they prayed for each other’s too? One person praying for you is good. A hundred is better. That’s what Sindi is for.

Questions

What is Sindi?

Sindi is a free prayer-wall app for Filipinos. You post what you’re praying for, and other people light a candle to show they prayed for it too, so one prayer becomes many. When it’s answered, you can share what happened.

Is Sindi free?

Yes. No ads, and prayer data is never sold. It’s supported by donations and parishes.

Do I have to use my real name?

No. On every petition you choose: your name, anonymous, or private.

Do I have to pray for other people?

Nobody checks, but that’s how the wall works. Every candle on your petition is someone who stopped for you. Lighting one for someone else takes a short prayer and a few seconds.

Is it only for Catholics?

It was built by St. Jude devotees, but it’s open to anyone who prays. Preset prayers can be changed in settings.

What is a novena?

Nine days of prayer. Turn it on and you’ll get a daily reminder while your candle stays lit for 9 days. Read the novena to St. Jude

When is Android coming?

Soon. Join the waitlist below and we’ll email you when it’s ready.

Carrying something today?
